I think you had a pretty fun first Easter! I know that you loved your gifts from the Easter Bunny. He was pretty nice in bringing you lots of fun new toys to play with. We had a quiet day at home and enjoyed some time in the grass, and kicked around your new soccer ball. And I must say, you looked pretty cute in your festive tshirt! Thanks for making this day so special!

An Early Easter
On top of our busy day at Chuck E. Cheese, we also headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's so they could give you your Easter basket. You knew right away that this little bag of cheese puffs were for eating (so you thought you would just try to eat the bag). You also received your yellow bunny that you love. What a busy but fun day was had spending time with so much of our family!
1st Visit to Chuck E. Cheese
Today we met up with your cousins at Chuck E. Cheese. Mommy and Daddy were really excited to take you there for the first time! We put you on a few rides, helped you down the slide, and introduced you to some arcade games. You had a good time...I think. But you were very ready to go when it was time. And you fell asleep int the car right away. We look forward to taking you back to Chuck E. Cheese when you get older!

Documenting the Daily
Today we are starting a very special and important project. A few years ago when I started scrapbooking, I followed the blog of Ali Edwards. She is someone who finds it very important to document the daily routines of life. I decided to take part in a project that she was also doing where you capture daily activities everyday for a week. It was a really fun project, and I know it will be something years from now that I will treasure. So, I decided that I wanted to do this project again before you were one. So, today we started. Here are a few pictures of our day.
One Special Lady
You have always known that Grandma Jacquie is one special lady. You know her by the name "Grandma". All I have to do is say that word and you start looking around for her. You sometimes cry when she leaves our house after a visit. And she is the only person besides me and Daddy that you will really snuggle. You met her the day you were born, and I think you have loved her ever since. I will always tell you how lucky you are to have grandparents that love you so. I am so glad you have such a special Grandma!

Mail Truck!
Every afternoon around 3pm we go to the window to watch the mail man pull up across the street to deliver the mail. You hear Mommy say, "Mail truck!!!", and you know exactly what that means. You stand on the couch and watch as he puts the mail into every box. I am not sure if it is the actual truck that interests you so, or the mail man himself, but you watch attentively every single day.

You Ate What I Ate
Tonight for dinner Mommy had chicken alfredo, garlic bread, peas, and sliced red peppers. You had your usual bland, boring, pureed baby food. You realized that what Mommy was eating was way better than what you were eating. So you started to grawl and yell at me to share my dinner with you. So I did. And you LOVED it! You could not eat it fast enough to satisfy your little tummy or your little taste buds. So, I guess it is officially the first real food meal you have ever had and I will have to share my food more often!
