Mom and Baby Pics

Grandma Jacquie recently pointed out that there just are not very many pictures of just you and I. And she is right! It's just that I am usually the one with the camera in my hand. So Daddy took some of us on my birthday. And I will make sure he has the camera more often going forward. So, here you are Grandma-more pics of Mom and Baby. (taken in our back yard)

Your First Trip To Manito Park

Mommy's birthday fell on a Saturday this year, so we went to Manito for the first time as a family. We forgot the stoller, so we decided to stick to just one area-the Japanese Garden. It was a great choice since it was shady, had benches, and is a beautiful place to snap a few pictures.

Just Chillin'

These days you have your hands behind your head almost anytime we lay you down. And sometimes, as said before, you have one in your mouth while the other is behind your head. Just chillin'!

A Big Ol' B Day Dinner

Grandpa Terry, Aunt Heather, and I all have birthdays at the end of July. So this year Grandpa invited all of us out for a big ol' b day dinner at the Texas Roadhouse in Coeur d'Alene. It was your first time going to a restaurant, and I was worried how you would do. But you actually did really well! You slept the majority of the time in your car seat, and we all took turns holding you when you woke up.

Bubbles

It's official: You have figured out how to blow bubbles (which means more drool everywhere)!

Two Months Old

You have gone through so many changes this month-you are such a different baby at the end of this month than at the beginning! Now you hold your head up for bits at a time, you sleep longer during the night, you started making new noises (coo's and happy sounds). You love to lay on your change table and kick your legs while looking at your elephant painting. Seeing you be so active and alert makes us so excited to see the baby you are still to become in the months ahead!

Happy Two Month Birthday!

We really cannot believe it has already been two months since your arrival! Daddy and I love you so much and feel so blessed to have you in our lives. We were very excited to celebrate this month with Heather & the boys visiting for dinner. (You can see Ethan was doing a little celebrating of his own). We also celebrated Heather's birthday at the same time with homemade glutten-free cupcakes (maybe that was what Ethan was celebrating about!).

Mr. Serious

We call you Mr. Serious. And like it or not, you are a your Dad's son, and your Grandpa's grandson. Which means you walk around with a serious look on your face-even when you don't mean to. What do the ladies at the grocery store say when they see you? "He's so serious!" Yeah, no surprise you inherited this one, and I don't think you are going to outgrow it anytime soon either!

Rendezvous W/The Cousins

This years Rendezvous At Gebhardt Trail was a great time for you to see your cousins. Boon and Hudson were both very eager to hug you, hold you, and give you kisses!

Meeting Your Cousins

Mommy was so excited for you to meet your cousins Rylan and Ethan, and Aunt Heather! They recently moved back to Spokane and I am just so happy for you to have cousins in town that you get to grow up with. We set you on the play mat with Rylan, and he was very interested in you-interested in touching you, grabbing you, and rolling over on you! I know the age difference seems substantial right now, but as you both get older, that gap will close. Looking forward to all that we get to share and experience with them!

Happy (1st) Fourth of July!

We were so excited to spend your first Fourth of July at the cabin! It was your first road trip, first time out of the state, first time to the cabin, and your first 4th! There was not much time for fun and relaxation since you were such a fussy bear, but we did get to take in some of the annual fireworks while Grandma stayed in the house with you. You were really upset by all of the noise the fireworks were making outside. But other than that, I think you had an ok first Fourth!
